Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) is one of the most popular and longest running TV shows in India. The show is inspired from the famous humorous column ‘Duniya Ne Undha Chashmah’ written by Taarak Mehta for the Gujarati weekly magazine Chitralekha.
The sitcom stars Dilip Joshi as Jethalal Champaklal Gada, Disha Vakani as Daya Jethalal Gada or Dayaben, Bhavya Gandhi as Tipendra Jethalal Gada, Amit Bhatt as Champaklal Jayantilal Gada, Munmun Dutta as Babita Krishnan Iyer, Shailesh Lodha as Taarak Mehta and Tanuj Mahashabde as Krishnan Subramaniam Iyer.
